This guy was quite an adventure to come up with from the get go. When i was told what kind of animal he was, I had immediately had a concept done in my head( they come to me really quickly...heh) As soon as I get it on paper, all the attributes I wanted to stick in were denied by my significant other(Siegeredwolf is an outstanding artist so I always take her word)Except since I'm stubborn, I do what I can for what I want in the pic. One result were the shades in place of the red panda' black beady eyes. It kind of represented the beady eyes to me. I wanted black beady, but it was denied ferociously.
Neither dub nor myself had a clear idea of what attire to give him besides a hiphop kinda deal. So designing an outfit that co-ordinated with the red panda' colours were trying at best. Way to much black and red, it would've come out blobby. So I did what I could that would be at least close to where the colour pattern would be, but in style Then came the cornrolls. Man, I googled, came up with a pattern, then hit a stump on how to colour it. The scalp was a wierd one since with humans it kinda matches the skin, but what about a bear? Anywho's, it didnt come out the way I wanted it to. Never mind the fact that I ended up redrawin it before any of the aforementioned stuff even happened. It was a kind of reset for me. Which was good since it made all that stuff possible.
